It that time again! The International podcast about education is back. This time I am interviewing my brother, Ryan Blake, from the “Superpowered Society Podcast.” Aside from podcasting, he is also an academic recruiter at a very prestigious university in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. We discuss some of the problems that students face in applying for college, how students are being prepared for academic life, and how the IB (International Baccalaureate) is possibly the cure to what a lot of people think is wrong with the current American education system.

This podcast is our introduction to the world. We are three international teachers who have lived in Shanghai for the past few years. We are all Americans but have very different backgrounds and perspectives.
We started this podcast as a way to hang out with each other and talk about popular culture from our childhoods. But, what started as an excuse to get drunk with our “bros,” turned into deep introspective conversations about who we are and how these cultural moments shaped us as adults.
